The Idiot Award

The Apprentice, who lives on the other side of Melbourne with her boyfriend, TAB (The Apprentice’s Boyfriend), was embracing natural therapies, healthy eating and gardening long before I was. Unfortunately she doesn’t have the patience to wade through a pile of reading material, so it hasn’t taken me long to catch up and even overtake her in some areas of knowledge during our journey. I don’t think she minds though, as long as I keep verbally sharing my discoveries with her. 

Calculative Methods for Junior Accountant?

The Junior Accountant still lives at home and, as her name suggests, is a junior accountant. She’s had the nickname sloth for a few years now, which I think is self-explanatory. She hates change with a passion and blames the reverse psychology I used on her and The Apprentice as children (to get them to eat their vegetables) as the reason for her determination to cut off her nose to spite her face. I don’t let that deter me from trying to make her healthier – I just have to be a bit sneakier in my methods.

Every member plays an important part in our family. Whether they’re a willing participant or not, they’re sharing our journey with us and all bring something unique to it.


So my first few posts will be an insight into our colourful clan, introducing one member each time. (They’re going to kill me!)

I am the one who fell ill, I am the one who has doneall of the research and I am the one who is determined to not only make my family as healthy as it can be, but happy and comfortable with themselves and life.
